WHO I AM
I have been writing for most of my life, though my writing only began to garner attention twelve years ago when my original screenplay, On the Edge, was optioned by Lifetime Television. Though subsequently dropped as a project because of the controversial subject matter, I continued to write.
My weekly blog, ivejustgottasaythis.com, has become a popular destination for a wide variety of readers and many of my writings have been published on a number of online magazines including Henpicked.com, Mamalode.com, BetterAfter50.com, and TheMighty.com.
I am a contributing writer and the editor on a trilogy, entitled The Ostrich Line, and a young adult novel, entitled Christmas Hood. Other writing accomplishments include my short play, Words, a selection in the 2005 Playwrights’ Platform Summer Festival in Boston, Massachusetts, and the jointly penned Oath, a finalist in the ScriptMag Open Door contest and Porn Painting, a half hour television pilot which was a finalist in the Scriptapalooza television writing contest. My current project, a one hour television drama entitled Second Time Around, is currently being workshopped.
I have an English and Theater Degree from Wheaton College, in Norton, Massachusetts and a Law Degree from New England School of Law, in Boston, Massachusetts. While I am no longer practicing law, I currently have a divorce mediation practice at elizabethrosemediation.com.
